Elope for Charity is back for its second year!
This day is for those that want to get married, but without all the fuss + support a great cause.
Introducing short, elopement style ceremonies held right in the Aldinga Secret Garden, with every dollar going to charity.
All 5 spots have been filled - that’s $12,500.00 raised for Hutt St Centre!

This year we will be supporting:
Hutt St Centre is a place of connection, compassion and support, where people at risk of or experiencing homelessness can rebuild their lives, rediscover their identities and reconnect with their loved ones.
When people walk through their Wellbeing Centre doors, they address their immediate needs by offering a shower, a meal, clean clothes or a recharge of their phone. Additionally, they provide access across each week to over 20 visiting services, ranging from Government services to health and wellbeing supports.
They connect people to housing, education and employment opportunities helping them build their skills and confidence to change their circumstances for good. Every person deserves an equal chance to live a full life, and we recognise that it isn’t always easy or possible.
They advocate for systematic change and amplify the voices of those experiencing homelessness. Through advocacy, fundraising activities, their unwavering support and culture of respect, they are working to end homelessness and injustice for the people of Adelaide.
When you donate to Hutt St Centre, you’re directly supporting the men and women in your community who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness. The Hutt St Wellbeing Centre is funded by the generosity of the community and our major partners and receives no Government funding.
What is elope for charity all about?
Alix and Matthew have created a wedding day like no other, where 5 couples can get married on the same day.
Each couple will enjoy a beautifully created and designed elopement ceremony that just feels like them, surrounded by up to 12 of your nearest and dearest (or just the two of you).
You can exchange vows and/ or rings if that’s your vibe.
After the ceremony, Tereza will guide you through family photos and then she’ll take you on a fun tour of the secret garden and take a few snaps along the way.
We’ll keep the planning simple, look after all the legal bits and create an easy-to-follow plan for on the day - including where and what time to arrive for you and your guests, what to expect and a few food options in the area.
Each ceremony will be in a different part of the garden - making the most of shade and the gardens natural beauty.
What’s included?
Wednesday 2nd December 2026 @ Aldinga Secret Garden
1 hour time slot per couple
A short, intimate and personalised elopement ceremony.
Celebrant planning meeting
Optional vows and/or ring exchange
All legal paperwork handled
Up to 12 guests (or no guests, if you prefer)
Photos by Tereza (Wilson and Lewis) including ceremony + post ceremony couple and guests (100+ digital images supplied)
Content Creator by Jaeli (Once content) including two edited reels.
Cost: $2500.00 per couple with every cent going to Hutt St Centre.

T&C’S
By registering your interest, you confirm that:
Both parties are not currently legally married (If you have been previously married you will need to present a divorce or death certificate)
Both parties are over the age of 18
Both parties are not in a prohibited relationship (related to each other)
This is not a surprise from one party for the other. Both parties understand that this a legal agreement they are entering into and consent to the marriage.
Both parties can present appropriate ID (either a passport or driver's license and original birth certificate)
You are able to pay the full fee within 5 days of being confirmed to participate in Elope for Charity 2026.
Terms and conditions:
Registrations have now closed.
We will ask all participants for their preferred ceremony timeslots. Elope for Charity is not a first come first serve basis for ceremony times and we cannot guarantee your preference. We will communicate with you during this process.
What's not included:
Photos outside of the 1 hour allotted time (before or after)
Food or drinks
The ability to stay after your allotted time
All guests and couple are asked to depart after the allotted 1-hour time period, so that we can prepare for the next couple.
Guestlists over 12 people attending (Children are counted as a guest)
We can provide 2 witnesses if you would like the ceremony to only be for you as a couple.
Any florals are at your own cost.
You are welcome to bring along some snacks or a bottle of champagne to toast the marriage.
